Now that the Bruins have shaved their Playoff Beards, it was time for Mr. Wonderful to follow suit. On the way to the clean shaven face I fell in love with, he experimented with some fun facial hair types.
This is where he started. It’s called the Short Boxed Beard (I guess).
First he shaved a reverse mohawk into his chin. That’s called the Friendly Mutton Chop. As opposed to the Angry Mutton Chop, which doesn’t have a mustache.
There’s that chin dimple I love so much!
Then he shaved the rest of his chin and fluffed out the sides. That’s the Hulihee. Apparently that’s Hawaiian for “turn and flee“. It’s also a Hawaiian palace. I don’t know how that translates to this:
Next he shaved a separation between the sideburns and the mustache. This is the Winnfield from Pulp Fiction.
The natural progression from there was, of course, the Fu Manchu.
But wait, there’s more…
Once he got down to just a mustache, he waxed it up into handlebars. (You know you’d be disappointed if he didn’t.)
Then there’s the Copstache…
The last one was the Pencil. Personally, I think it looks better on Prince.
By then, there was only one place to go. Man I’ve missed those cheeks!
I’m actually a little disappointed that he didn’t have some awesome beard tan lines. Maybe next year…
